The Islands Pool Remodel
Pool remodeling, repair and tile work planned for The Islands backyards.
The Islands is a master-planned lake community about five minutes southwest of downtown Gilbert, with about 400 waterfront homes on streets with nautical names.
Pools here often sit between the house and the water, so the barrier between the yard and the lake matters as much as the pool itself. Remodels in The Islands tend to focus on new tile and finishes and on fences and gates that still close and latch the way the Town requires.
The Town of Gilbert's pool barrier policy, which quotes its Land Development Code, calls for an enclosure not less than 5 feet nor more than 6 feet in height. Gates have to be self-closing and self-latching, and openings can't let a 4-inch sphere pass through. The Town says it's each pool owner's responsibility to provide and maintain a compliant pool fence, so we check yours while we're on site.

Yes. We plan access, drainage and staging so nothing heads toward the lake, and we check the barrier between your yard and the water.
The Town of Gilbert's pool barrier policy applies to all pools. We check your fence and gates against it during the estimate.
